Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in Wakefield to recruit a Head of Manufacturing.
Salary: up to £80k
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Manufacturing to manage operational performance and lead a diverse team of Production & Shift managers.
Duties of the Head of Manufacturing include:
- Oversee and manage operational performance to meet or exceed targets for safety, cost, quality, and delivery
- Execute the factory production plan On Time to Standard
- Delivery of site plans within agreed cost budgets
- Monitor and improve effectiveness and efficiency of shop floor operations
- Manage, motivate, and coach a talented team to achieve optimal performance.
We would like to speak with Heads of Manufacturing/Senior Production Managers with the following:
- Degree educated in an engineering or manufacturing discipline would be ideal
- Formal safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate
- A team management qualification, e.g., ILM level 2/3
- Proven work experience as a Senior Manager leading a diverse team
