Senior Administrator – Tendering Support
Location: WakefieldSalary: £25,000 - £30,000Full-time, permanentHybrid working
Are you an experienced administrator with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills? I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company in Wakefield for a Senior Administrator to support the tendering process.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the primary contact for bids, proposals, and customer relationships
- Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents within strict deadlines
- Register, distribute, and manage tender documentation
- Oversee project management tasks related to the tendering process
- Attend tender submission meetings, recording detailed minutes
- Request and coordinate quotes from subcontractors
- Provide marketing support, including event coordination and social media updates
- Strong administrative background, ideally within engineering or construction
- Experience handling bids, tenders, or procurement processes
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control systems
