Our client, an award-winning manufacturer, is looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to work at their facility based in Wakefield.

The successful Candidate will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, meet safety and quality standards, and are completed on time.

The Role:
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
  • Monitor H&S on production floor.
  • Ensure that products meet quality standards by monitoring production processes and conducting regular quality checks.
  • Assist with production planning.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions to increase productivity and efficiency on the production floor.
  • Provide hands on support.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials are available as needed and that finished products are correctly documented and stored.

The candidate:
  • Previous experience in a team leader/supervisor role would be an advantage
  • A good knowledge of mechanical/electrical processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
