Shifts: Monday - Friday
Our client, an award-winning manufacturer, is looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to work at their facility based in Wakefield.
The successful Candidate will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, meet safety and quality standards, and are completed on time.
The Role:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
- Monitor H&S on production floor.
- Ensure that products meet quality standards by monitoring production processes and conducting regular quality checks.
- Assist with production planning.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions to increase productivity and efficiency on the production floor.
- Provide hands on support.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials are available as needed and that finished products are correctly documented and stored.
The candidate:
- Previous experience in a team leader/supervisor role would be an advantage
- A good knowledge of mechanical/electrical processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
