£90,000 – £105,000 + Package

The Company

This MEP Project Directors role is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors. They have an excellent reputation and build some of the country’s most iconic buildings. They are a diverse organisation covering most sectors of the built environment and this specific role is within their refurbishment division.

Projects are varied ranging from £500k - £10million in the commercial, retail, and public sector.

The Role

We are looking for an MEP Project Director with experience of critical resilience projects to oversee 2 projects in the Yorkshire area. 

Your role will include:

  • Overall responsibility for the success the project.
  • Allocate resources and staff ensuring projects have appropriate.
  • Identify the quality expectations and ensure these are achieved.
  • Understands the contractual requirements of the project.
  • Proactively manage the customer relationship during pre-construction, delivery and post construction, including change management, risk management and decision making to effectively manage expectations.
  • Ensure external consultants (e.g., Design) are managed to enable delivery – driving value, customer focus and achievement of the project’s objectives.
  • Participate in and sign off supply chain selection process, ensuring that an appropriate balance is made between commercial focus, quality orientation, delivery capability and safety record.
  • Ensure effective records are maintained and kept for project delivery and regularly report on project progress, risks and issues.
  • Attend and lead contract reviews for projects you are accountable for, ensuring accurate records are kept and actions are timely monitored and completed.
