Job Details:

JobMatcha are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Orpington, working in the princess royal hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

Review all Requests for Alterations, Minor works and Hard FM Service Variations to understand and support the Operations Team with pricing any impact for ongoing Hard FM Services or Life Cycle. Support the Commercial Team with Life Cycle Projects reviewing Subcontractor Fee Proposals and Applications for Payment liaising with the Operations Team to validate % completion. Understand and prepare applicable Drawdown Requests to our ClientSupport and Manage early asset failures ensure appropriate paperwork is in place and ensure our work in progress is effectively managed. Attend internal and external meetings with Stakeholders.

Key skills and qualifications required:

Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills, Experience in preparing BOQ and cost planning, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations, Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or relevant industry certifications (e.g., RICS) would be preferred, however, not a mandatory requirement
