Administrative Business Support Officer

We are seeking an Administrative Business Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support to Service Managers and other senior management. This role involves a variety of tasks including data entry, diary management, and handling confidential correspondence. The ideal candidate will be a central point of contact for managers, handling inquiries and managing communications with professionalism and discretion.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide a range of administrative tasks including typing, diary management, photocopying, and producing correspondence.
  • Coordinate the Service Manager’s electronic calendar and process confidential correspondence.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Service Manager, handling routine enquiries and requests for information.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of effective communication systems, ensuring accurate message relay to all levels of colleagues and the public.
  • Assist in the administration of financial tasks such as ordering goods and services, processing invoices, and managing petty cash.
  • Arrange and prepare for meetings and conferences, including room bookings, agenda preparation, and minute taking.
  • Maintain accurate data recording and storage within electronic and manual systems.
  • Support the operation of electronic systems and contribute to the implementation of new technology.
  • Develop and update tracking systems and ensure daily handling of post and information distribution.
