Position: Behaviour Support Assistant Location: Wakefield, UK

Are you a compassionate, patient, and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting students with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team in Wakefield. You will work in Alternative Provision Schools, which provide tailored education for students who may not thrive in mainstream settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and understanding to students with SEMH needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support each student's development.
