Tradewind have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant (TA) experienced with supporting behaviour at a primary school in Wakefield.
As a member of support staff at this school you will significantly contribute to maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting pupils with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and behavioural challenges. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the educational journey of all pupils you work with daily.
Where: Wakefield City.
When: After October half term holidays.
Pay: £84- £90 per day, depending on your experience.

In addition to this, you will work collaboratively with the class teacher and support the academic attainment of one child with behavioural difficulties on a one-to-one basis.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils with learning challenges, ensuring their understanding of the curriculum
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, including setting up equipment and organising resources for lessons
- Build a positive rapport with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
- Work effectively as a team player with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources and best practice
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent references to support previous experience in supporting pupil with behavioural difficulties.
- A CV that covers full employment.
- The right to work in the UK.
