SEMH Learning Support Assistant

At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Yorkshire and we’re now looking to increase our pool of SEN Teaching Assistants we can offer to these great schools. We have a variety of Teaching Assistant positions available, to start immediately.

We are specifically looking for a SEMH LSA to start ASAP or in September 2024 to work with students who have SEMH needs cross all years (aged 7 - 16) we require someone that preferably will have worked in an SEMH role or has a passion for working with SEMH children (Personal Experience at a minimum is requred). They school has a teacher training program for graduates and it is very small classes ranging from 6-8 students per class.

About the role:

  • Earn up to £500 per week
  • Full-time positions available
  • Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
  • 1:1 support for special needs and lower-ability pupils
  • Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
  • Supporting students with challenging behaviour
