We are seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist setting for Key Stage 3 and 4 students in the WF4 area. This role is vital in supporting our learners' emotional, social, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with additional learning and behavioural needs.- Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).- Foster a positive learning environment by promoting engagement and motivation.- Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational activities.- Monitor student progress and contribute to assessments and reports.- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support.- Help manage classroom behaviour and provide strategies for emotional regulation.

Requirements:

- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).- Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs (SEN).- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach to supporting students.- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Working Hours:

- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
