About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism, sensory impairments, medical or physical difficulties, and profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Day-to-Day Life:
- Supporting Learning: Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs, adapting materials and methods to meet individual needs.
- Personal Care: Provide personal care and support to students, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the school day.
- Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging students to participate in classroom activities and social interactions.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
