TIG Welder/Fabricator
I am recruiting for my Client based in Horbury for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator within the automotive precision and customization work.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding and Fabrication: Perform TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel, to create custom exhaust systems and other automotive parts.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
Material Preparation: Cut, shape, and prepare metal materials for welding and assembly.
Measuring and Marking: Use precision measuring tools and machinery to measure, mark, and prepare parts accurately for welding.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication and welding process.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other fabricators and team to achieve project goals in a timely fashion.
Hours
Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Weekend availability
Salary
£14 - £20 per hour depending on experience.
Overtime available when applicable at 1.5x the standard rate
