A great opportunity has arisen for a TIG welder to join a leading company who supply to various industries, including Aerospace, Manufacturing and Civil.

Job Description:

  • Perform TIG welding on various materials, primarily aluminium profiles, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
  • Assemble components using hand tools and power tools, following technical drawings and specifications.
  • Fabricate parts as required.
  • Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in TIG welding.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.

Additional Details:

  • Negotiable salary
  • Mon – Thurs – 7am – 5:30pm – 4 day week
  • Friday – overtime availability
  • Weld bonus structure - OTE - £45K - £50K
