We are recruiting a proactive Buyer for a dynamic company based in Berinsfield . You will ensure the timely availability of all materials at cost-effective prices. Your success will be measured by supplier performance and your contribution to the company's bottom line.
Main Duties:
' Source and place orders for contract and non-contract items.
' Negotiate lower prices whenever possible.
' Maintain supplier details and review performance on the MRP system.
' Monitor and improve supplier performance.
' Maintain minimum stock levels as per MRP requirements.
' Adjust MRP parameters for on-time availability and appropriate batch sizes.
' Progress chase outstanding purchase orders.
' Assist Stores and Production Control as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
' CIPS qualification (desirable) or willingness to obtain it.
' 3+ years' experience with MRP/ERP/SAP systems.
' Experience in supplier/customer management.
' Proficient in MS Office Suite.
' Manufacturing environment experience
' Excellent communication and assertiveness skills.
' Flexible, reliable, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
