Robert Half are working with a fast based business focused on delivering high-quality products and services to their customers. As they continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Procurement Co-ordinator to join their team and play a key role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.

This is initially an interim role, due to start ASAP, but there is a strong likelihood for the role to become permanent. This position will be based at the clients offices in Wallingford, and paying a FTE salary of circa £28,000.

The Role:

As a Procurement Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate placement and progression of purchase orders, maintaining stock levels, and meeting service level targets. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any procurement issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and maintain SLAs for key material product lines.
  • Manage purchase orders for both stocked and non-stocked goods and services.
  • Liaise with logistics teams to ensure delivery schedules are met.
  • Track and monitor the delivery of goods to ensure they meet lead time, presentation, and KPI targets.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and files.
  • Resolve any supplier issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Administer SAP systems, including article creation, master data maintenance, and price updates.
  • Collaborate with internal sales departments, answering availability inquiries.
  • Regularly review Supplier Evaluation KPI reports and liaise with suppliers to improve performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in office administration, preferably within stock planning or procurement.
  • Confident managing large volumes of data with high accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow within the procurement field.
