Paralegal - Conveyancing Department

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Conveyancing Department. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to advance their legal career by gaining hands-on experience in both residential and commercial property transactions.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist solicitors and legal executives with the management of a varied caseload of property transactions.
  • Help with the preparation and review of legal documents such as contracts, transfers, leases, and other conveyancing documents.
  • Conduct property searches and title checks, ensuring all necessary due diligence is completed.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders, providing timely updates and ensuring smooth communication throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Maintain and organize case files to ensure information is kept up to date and accessible.
  • Support the conveyancing team by preparing correspondence and legal documents related to property transactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Law degree or relevant legal qualifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law environment is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and property law.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
