Adult Speech & Language Therapist 6 or 7

Sutton Community Neuro Therapy Services, Roundshaw Health Centre, Wallington

Seeing patients with a Sutton GP, both in their own home, care homes & in the community as requiredAssessment & treatment / intervention of adult patients with Neurological conditions, aquired communication & swallow difficulties in the community setting Candidates will need:

Essential: • You will have good experience working with patients with neurological conditions including stroke, head injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis & progressive conditions. • Experience in the management of dysphagia & be dysphagia trained. • Experience in rehabilitation and the management of long term conditions. • Community experience · Experience working with adults & older adults • MDT working · Ability to complete community visit around the borough of Sutton, South West London Desirable: - EMIS trained & have a NHS SMART card - Car driver & car that can use for this post 5 days a week Mon- Fri; excluding bank holidays, 7 hours a day with 30 min unpaid lunch 35 hours a week, typically 8.30-16.00
