Typically, this person will be responsible for assembling a range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, ensuring all components meet quality and safety standards.

Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician:
- Assemble mechanical and hydraulic equipment in accordance with production schedules (MPS).
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and parts lists to ensure accurate assembly.
- Handle large steel fabrications and associated ancillary equipment, including hydraulic cylinders and operating systems.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and requirements for the Mechanical Technician:
- Experience in mechanical/hydraulic assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with large fabrications and hydraulic systems is an advantage.
