Plating Supervisor

Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit a Plating Supervisor for our client based in Wallsend.

The ideal candidatewill be time served plater, plating supervisor or general foreman within a heavy steel fabrication setting.

Your most important tasks:

• Responsible for safety and coordination of production area
• Planning manpower, time and plant resources
• Area supervision of labour.
• Ensuring area is safely clear of trades in preparation for assembly/production.
• Planning production area activities around a month in advance.
  
  Candidate Specification:
• Must be able to read engineering drawings.
• Must have a flexible approach to work and be able to work as part of a team.
• A no-nonsense approach to work with the ability to inspire others.
• This is a development role with the intention of the successful candidate becoming a Production Leader.
