The successful Health and Social Care lecturer will have the following skills and qualifications, or be willing to work towards: 

  • Experience delivering sessions surrounding Health, Social care and Childcare. This can be in the capacity of trainer, assessor or lecturer.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour. 
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting is desirable but not essential 
  • A good communicator, and above all else be a kind and resilient person. 
  •  A recognised teaching or assessing qualification, or a Higher Education degree relating to Health and Social Care
