Senior Accountant Walsall£35,000 - £40,000It is with great pleasure that Butler Rose Public Practice is assisting our client, a reputable and well-known accounting firm located in the centre of Walsall, who are currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a great oppourtunity to get placed in a great firm.Role Requirements -
- Responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients comprising individuals and owner managed businesses.
- Preparation and review of year-end financial accounts for companies, partnerships, LLP's and sole traders.
- Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns
- Preparation and review of partnership tax returns and adjusted profit computations.
- Preparation and review of self-assessment personal tax returns.
- Company secretarial filings.
- Reviewing book-keeping/VAT returns for quarterly submission.
- Research and seeking to resolve issues for upward communication in more complex client
- cases or higher risk aspects of work.
Person Requirements -
- AAT and ACCA qualified (or late stages) with 5+ years' experience in a senior capacity taking responsibility for a sizeable portfolio of clients
- Proven record of mentoring, supervising, and reviewing the work of more junior staff members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confident in meeting with clients either virtually or physically.
