Your new companyHays Accountancy and Finance are working exclusively with a client based in Walsall who are looking to welcome an Assistant Accountant to the team. An amazing opportunity for an individual to progress and develop their career within finance.Your new roleThe job is a great role and will be based in their head office working in Walsall. The role will be a varied one and will include:

  • Production of monthly journals to support the preparation of management accounts.
  • Post accounts reports production.
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Completion of ONS surveys.
  • Data entry and invoice processing for accounts payable if & when required.
  • Tax & Marketing analysis to be prepared.
  • Post standard fixed journals such as bad debt provision & rebate provision build-ups and year-end adjustments.
  • Perform a review of accruals and prepayments for central cost centres.
  • Post adjustments to intercompany accounts where required.
