What you'll do:

As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of our client's operations. Your excellent organisational skills will be put to use in managing stock distribution and maintaining accurate levels. You will implement processes and procedures within all departments, adhering to certified ISO standards. Your expertise in modified sawing will be crucial in tailoring products to customer requirements while ensuring LEAN/5s production methods are implemented. You will also oversee warehouse and logistics, ensuring efficient flow of products through effective communication between sites. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining site grounds and buildings as well as ensuring legal compliance of fleet and drivers.

  • Manage all distribution of stock and maintain accurate levels.
  • Implement processes and procedures within all departments in line with ISO9001:2015, ISO14001, ISO50001 standards.
  • Modify stocked Steel bar product to fit customer's specific requirements using LEAN/5s production methods.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication between sites for efficient flow of products.
  • Monitor product storage and stock levels.
  • Maintain site grounds and buildings.
  • Ensure legal compliance of fleet and drivers.
  • Conduct regular audits at each site to maintain good working relationships with leasing companies and service centres.
