A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team on a permanent basis to work on various projects such as hospital sites, social housing and education etc. 

We are looking for Fire Stoppers on a temp to perm basis with an initial agency period of 13 weeks and then moving to a permanent role.

Pay on offer is £180 per day for the initial agency period (13 weeks) and then moving to £37,444 per annum thereafter (once permanent).

*For the initial 13 weeks – you will be required to use your own van and a company vehicle will be provided once permanent with the company*


The successful candidate will have:

  • At least three years’ fire stopping experience
  • NVQ level 2 passive fire protection
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound
  • Fire curtain experience preferred
  • Experience working using tracing apps to record works completed
  • Knowledge of 3rd party accreditation
  • Asbestos Awareness certificate
  • Own Tools - steps and triple extender ladders

Roles and responsibilities

  • Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors
  • Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
  • Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
  • Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
