Credit Controller

Location: WalsallSalary: £25,000 to £30,000 Temporary Assignment

Are you an experienced Credit Controller passionate about reducing aged debt? Our client is looking for a detailed and driven Credit Controller to be an integral part of their credit control function and lead efforts to reduce debtor days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for credit control, reducing debtor days
  • Bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
  • Managing sales ledger and invoicing
  • General accounts admin and query handling
  • Support for other accounts team members
  • Proficient in Excel (Sage Line 50 experience desirable)

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience of credit control and account receivable processes.
  • A track record of reducing aged debt.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to credit control.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills both with internal and external customers.
  • The ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
