Hays Education is representing an inclusive and dynamic nursery school in the heart of Walsall and is looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to start in January. Their curriculum is based on the individual needs and interests of the children, and they are encouraged to develop confidence and independence as they explore, investigate, question, problem-solve and evaluate, with the support of skilled early-year practitioners.Your new roleFor this job, you will be supporting children aged 3-4 in the main nursery. You will be planning and delivering lessons, including creating learning activities for the children in line with the EYFS curriculum. You will be observing and assessing the children's development and plan and deliver activities that meet their individual needs. Alongside this, you will be supporting with parent evenings, liaising with parents and carers on children's progression.What you'll need to succeed

  • A Level 3 qualification is required for this role.
  • You must have 2 years' experience in a nursery setting.
  • Open to work with children with SEN.
  • Confident in preparing and delivering high quality activities in line with EYFS outcomes.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • To have recent and relevant experience in the role.
  • Be confident and offer encouragement.
  • You need to be reliable.
