This school is looking for someone who is committed to supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the learning and development of SEN pupils, provide 1:1 support to pupils, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals, monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. What you'll need to succeed

  • NVQ Level 1 Qualification in supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is an advantage.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
