Monday Friday - 37 hours a week (Early Finish on Friday)
A leading Manufacturer of products for the construction and manufacturing industry are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer. This is a newly created role within the business, due to recent expansion and an increase in production.
Working alongside a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for more of a customer focus by supporting the internal sales team with Technical advice and guidance but also externally to customers and contractors.
Role Description
* Detailed understanding of and the ability to interpret technical drawings
* Provide support to the Product Development Engineer with the day-to-day operations of the Technical Department including responding to customer technical enquiries
* Be involved with leading the research and development of new and exciting products
* The preparation of tool drawings for CNC cutting
Skills and Qualifications
* Background experience of AutoCAD Software
* Engineering Degree or similar
* The ability to read and produce technical drawings
* Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service
skills
