We are looking for a proactive and experienced QHSE Manager to join our team and drive quality excellence across our operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within the QHSE support function, ensuring top-tier quality standards and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Monitoring

  • Develop and implement quality standards and accreditations, ensuring compliance across all operations.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections on manufactured products, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Maintain and review processes, continuously identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Oversee supply chain audits and ensure calibration standards are upheld.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues to enhance product quality.

Health, Safety & Environmental Monitoring

  • Conduct routine HS&E inspections across departments.
  • Lead HSE investigations, determining root causes, and embedding key lessons learned.
  • Chair quarterly QHSE committee meetings, ensuring ongoing safety improvements.
  • Support in addressing QHSE issues and align with company-wide safety objectives.

Business Improvements

  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and support project managers in implementing changes.
  • Introduce innovations to boost production and efficiency.
  • Collaborate on projects aimed at advancing production quality and streamlining processes.

Complaints & SLAs

  • Ensure complaints are addressed and resolved within SLAs, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective measures.
  • Lead investigations of HSEQ incidents, non-conformances, and quality issues.

Fabrication Support

  • Assist the Fabrication team in maintaining high-quality standards and necessary accreditations.
  • Oversee quality inspections for fabrication products and support the development of contract-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

Management & Team Development

  • Manage internal quality resources, conducting regular one-on-ones and performance reviews.
  • Support direct reports in achieving departmental goals and personal development targets.

Key Targets

  • Lead and successfully complete all audits.
  • Regularly review and improve business processes.
  • Ensure timely resolution of complaints, typically within five working days.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of ISO accreditations 9001, 45001 & 14001.
  • Proven experience in an HSEQ role, with a focus on quality control.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in relevant software.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with ISO 50001.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., Chartered Quality Institute).
  • IEMA status and internal auditor qualifications.
