HR Advisor / Employee Relations Advisor(12 Month Contract)

Location:Walsall

Salary:£35,000

This is an excellent opportunity to join anational business keen to recruit an HR Advisor to work in a corporate environment, to cover maternity leave.

As the HR Advisor you will provide a 1st class service to employees and managers providing advice and guidance on a wide range of HR issues.

HR Advisor / Employee Relations Advisor -key responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and coaching on HR issues such as T&Cs, performance, absence, grievance, disciplinaries to all employees

  • End to end management of ER Cases. - this is managing a high number of cases

  • Provide advice, guidance and coaching to line managers on best practice, policies, processes and associated risks

  • Steer stakeholders through correct procedure and company best practice, advising at all stages and ensuring that all discussions and actions are progressed in a timely manner.

  • Produce documentation where required

  • Support HR to review and amend policies and procedures

  • Provide recommendations on service and process improvements

  • Support on projects as required

HR Advisor / Employee Relations Advisor- Key Skills Needed:

  • Good experience of managing HRissues

  • Good knowledge of employment legislation

  • Thorough understanding of applying HR policies and procedures within in the areas of employee conduct, sickness and absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary, investigations, dismissal

  • Have provided guidance and coaching via telephone, email, reports, interviews, in person to line managers

  • Able to build relationships quickly, influence stakeholders and push back when required

  • Highly organized, able to manage your own workload.

  • Worked within a large business
