Your new roleWe are working in partnership with a Secondary school based between Wolverhampton and Walsall who are seeking a Science Teacher to join their team to start ASAP until at least Easter 2025. This is a full-time position, and will involve marking and planning. You will have the opportunity to teach across KS3 to year 13 (with flexibility on the timetable). They have supportive and responsive SLT, with a strong department lead.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
