We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Full-Time Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join our team on a long-term basis.Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational programs.
- Assist students with their learning activities, ensuring they are engaged and supported.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Support students with personal care needs, if required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or special needs support is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of working in a special school environment.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience to support students with varying needs and abilities.
- Ability to follow individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt to the specific requirements of each student.
