Aspire People is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Walsall. This school supports children with a range of needs, including behaviour, autism, and SEMH challenges.

The role will involve teaching and covering a variety of subjects, including English, Maths, and Design Technology (DT), with a focus on providing tailored support to students with special educational needs.

Key Details:

Location: Walsall (accessible via public transport)

Start Date: After the Easter half term

Days: 3-5 days per week

Subjects Covered: English, Maths, DT, and other general SEN support

What We're Looking For:

QTS Teacher with SEN experience

Ability to deliver lessons across a variety of subjects, particularly English, Maths, and DT

Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies to support students with additional learning needs

A patient, empathetic approach to teaching and supporting students

Excellent classroom management skills, especially in a SEMH setting

Experience working with children with SEN, including autism and SEMH needs

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
