Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? If so Aspire are seeking an empathetic and resilient SEN Teacher to join our committed team with in the west midlands. This role focuses on working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and/or have experienced trauma. You will also be required to support students with personal care when necessary.Key Responsibilities:* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH, Autism, and trauma-related challenges.* Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment that promotes the emotional well-being and academic progress of each student.* Provide personal care and support to students as needed, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.* Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to provide holistic support for students.* Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural management strategies.* Maintain clear communication with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each child's learning journey.* Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods and resources as required.Qualifications and Experience:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / ECTS are welcome.* MUST have experience working with children who have SEMH, Autism, and trauma-related needs is highly desirable.* ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply and will receive comprehensive support.* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.* Excellent communication, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.* Ability to manage challenging behaviour with a calm and positive approach.* Willingness to undertake training related to personal care and specific SEN requirements.What We Offer:* A supportive and inclusive environment with a strong commitment to staff well-being.* Access to professional development and training opportunities.* A collaborative team of educators and support staff.* Opportunities to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people with complex needs.I am keen to speak with Teachers that feel like they would be suited to the role.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
