Sonic Summary

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Specialist to support vulnerable young adults in KS3 and KS4 in Walsall.
The role involves providing tailored support to students with ADHD and Autism and developing individualised education plans.
Candidates should have experience working with young adults with ADHD and Autism, along with a strong understanding of SEN strategies.
A Child and Adult DBS is required, or the willingness to obtain one through the school.
The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000, and candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience.

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Specialist to join a supportive secondary school in Walsall, working with vulnerable young adults in KS3 and KS4 diagnosed with ADHD and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with ADHD and Autism.
Develop and implement individualised education plans.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
Promote an inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

Experience working with young adults with ADHD and Autism.
Strong understanding of SEN strategies in KS3 and KS4 settings.
Child and Adult DBS required (or willingness to acquire one through us).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
