- Create and deliver personalised lesson plans, adapting teaching styles to suit the individual needs of each student
- Build strong relationships with your students, understanding their unique needs and helping them to achieve their best
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel valued, safe, and encouraged to thrive
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure that students' needs are being met both in and outside the classroom
- Celebrate progress, big and small, and be there to guide your students through their journey, providing not only education but a sense of pride in their accomplishments.
- Use innovative, creative, and engaging teaching strategies to help students overcome barriers to learning and develop confidence
- Make a difference in students' lives, supporting their personal growth, social skills, and emotional well-being
Who We're Looking For: We are looking for a passionate, motivated teacher who:
- Is a qualified teacher with QTS, PGCE, or equivalent
- Has experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential - we welcome applicants with a strong desire to learn and grow in this area)
- Demonstrates deep empathy, patience, and resilience in working with children who face challenges every day
- Has a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs
- Possesses excellent communication skills and is able to work effectively within a supportive team
- Holds a clear enhanced DBS check or is willing to undergo the process
