Duties

  • Answering incoming calls / making outbound calls as required.
  • Regularly checking and dealing with queries and call logs to all shared mailboxes.
  • Creating and updating jobs on our EvoM system, creating and updating notes.
  • Inputting RM appointments into engineer's diaries with the aim being to meet the SLA.
  • Updating and checking client portals.
  • Ordering parts internally as and when requested/required by engineers.
  • Tracking and chasing the progress of part deliveries with suppliers.
  • Arranging return visits for engineers for uncompleted jobs or to fit additional parts.
  • Full responsibility for diary management/scheduling of allocated engineers and contractors as needed.
  • Good construction knowledge, able to talk to clients to establish the cause of the issue to send the correct trades operative.
  • Provide a quotation for reactive jobs, labour and materials.
  • Commercially aware maximising Helpdesk operatives productivity.
  • Review traffic conditions for job locations.
  • Forward thinking, scheduling jobs to minimise travel time to area/routes.
  • Dealing with complaints as per process.
  • Interviewing potential engineers.
  • Helpdesk diary management coordinating annual leave and shift patterns.
  • Liaising with subcontractors to ensure they are providing adequate service.
  • Checking engineers paperwork and timesheets on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring all invoicing is completed daily, to include all jobs completed by allocated engineers, PPM work and unallocated engineers as required by the business, liaising with engineers.
  • Attend monthly line managers meetings and report as per agenda.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required within the department.
