Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Parts and Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the management of parts inventory and coordinate service operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:Monitor and maintain optimal levels of parts inventory, placing orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Service Coordination:Schedule service appointments, manage technician workloads, and track the status of service requests to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Customer Support:Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries about parts availability, service status, and providing technical assistance as needed.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate records of parts orders, service history, and customer communications, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with service technicians, management, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Reporting:Generate reports on inventory levels, parts usage, and service metrics to assist management in making informed decisions.

Qualifications:

  • A-levels or equivalent qualification; a background in automotive service or parts management is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a parts or service coordination role, preferably in the automotive or machinery sector.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
