Packer

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packed efficiently and accurately for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control, materials handling, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities

• Pack products securely for shipping, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Conduct quality control checks on packed items to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Stock materials and products in the warehouse as required.
• Operate forklifts safely to load and unload goods from lorries.
• Handle materials efficiently, maintaining an organised workspace.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain accurate records using the warehouse management system.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise packing processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and materials handling techniques.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for success in this position.

Hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with overtime in busy periods and occasional Saturdays half day
