Pay:90 - 100 a day (depending on experience)

Hours:8:00am - 4:00pm (Term time only)

Active Recruitment are working with a state of the art primary school in Waltham Cross who are looking for Early Years Teaching Assistants to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and support for toddlers and preschool-aged children
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment
  • Teach foundational math and literacy skills
  • Plan and organize activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Monitor and assess the progress of each child
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
