Job title:Early Years Teaching Assistant
Start date:ASAP/January Starts
Setting:Primary School
Duration:Temp to Perm
Pay:90 - 100 a day (depending on experience)
Hours:8:00am - 4:00pm (Term time only)
Active Recruitment are working with a state of the art primary school in Waltham Cross who are looking for Early Years Teaching Assistants to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support for toddlers and preschool-aged children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Teach foundational math and literacy skills
- Plan and organize activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Monitor and assess the progress of each child
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
