Drywall Quantity Surveyor
Location - Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
Salary - 50,000 - 60,000 (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drywall Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and well-established team within the drywallindustry. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installation and related services, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, materials, and labour needs.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate costs, and resolve any issues.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on project financials, including cost forecasts and variations.
- Ensure all works comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist with tender submissions and contract negotiations.
- Oversee the procurement process for materials and subcontractors.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure the smooth running of projects.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on drywall, ceilings, partitions, plastering projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project lifecycle.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong working relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., RICS accreditation) is desirable, though not essential.
- Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
