CONTENT EDITORCIRCA £40,000ESHER  Our client is an exciting, award winning and vibrant fast-growing media and events company, passionately organising a number of virtual and hybrid leading B2B conferences, annual summits, webinars, leadership roundtable events and four dynamic and regularly visited websites.  Key Responsibilities:
  1. Content Creation and Editing:
    1. Write, edit, and proofread content for websites, event programmes, brochures, newsletters, press releases, and social media channels.
    2. Ensure all content is clear, concise, and consistent with the company’s brand voice and style guide.
    3. Develop compelling copy that effectively promotes events, podcasts, webinars, and virtual events, engaging target audiences.
  2. Content Management:
    1. Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content for all events, podcasts, webinars, and marketing campaigns.
    2. Source new content from industry experts including interviews, podcasts and regular blogs
    3. Write regular content updates and thought leadership pieces
    4. Manage updates to event-related content on the company’s website, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
    5. Monitor and optimise content performance, making adjustments as needed based on analytics and feedback.
  3. Podcast, Webinar, and Virtual Event Hosting:
    1. Host and manage company podcasts, coordinating with guests, scripting episodes, and ensuring a professional production.
    2. Organise and host webinars and podcasts, collaborating with speakers and managing the technical aspects to ensure smooth execution.
    3. Assist in planning and hosting virtual events, ensuring content and format align with the event’s objectives and audience expectations.
    4. Develop and implement strategies to promote these digital events and increase audience engagement.
  4. Collaboration:
    1. Collaborate with event planners to gather necessary information for content creation.
    2. Partner with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with promotional strategies and campaign goals.
    3. Liaise with external contributors, such as freelance writers, podcast guests, or content agencies, as needed.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    1. Maintain a high standard of quality in all content, ensuring it is free from errors and aligns with the company’s editorial guidelines.
    2. Conduct regular content audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
