Are you an experienced and compassionate Classroom Assistant in Wantage looking to make a real difference? We are seeking a dedicated individual to support a child in Key Stage 1 with ADHD and significant attachment difficulties, which can lead to dysregulated behaviour.

• 16,282.50 - 17,282.50 (83.50 - 90 per day)

About the Role:

• Provide 1:1 support in the classroom, helping the Wantage child engage with learning.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support emotional regulation and academic progress.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement strategies tailored to the child's needs.
• Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.

About You:

• Essential: Experience supporting children with ADHD and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Confident in delivering 1:1 interventions and adapting strategies to support emotional and behavioural needs.
• Patient, resilient, and able to build a trusting relationship with the child.
• Preferred: Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent experience.
