You (One to One Teaching Assistant) will be responsible for working with SEN students with varying degrees, from ADHD, ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental delay and other SEMH challenges. You will work One to One/1:1 with the children in Year 4.

Ideal candidates for the One to One Teaching Assistant role:

  • To have 1 years' experience in any SEN or child-related setting.
  • Graduate degree in Psychology, Criminology or STEM subjects.
  • Have a positive attitude and install the love for learning.

The Wantage based primary school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is subject to appropriate vetting procedures including a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions as part of the recruitment process.
