What the role as Psychology Teaching Assistant entails:
* You will be facilitating and providing specific interventions to aid in the children's learning* You will facilitate a safe and secure environment for learning to take place* You will encourage students to achieve the best they can academically, while also adding to their personal growth* You will keep track of their academic achievements* Have a good understanding of the importance of safeguarding
Qualities you will need to be a great Wantage Psychology Teaching Assistant:
* Being kind, caring and compassionate* Having a determination to make a difference in the lives of the students* Be patient and willing to adapt your approach to meet the needs of the students* Experience working with children and especially children with SEN will be advantageous but not essential* You will need an enhanced DBS check, but don't worry if you don't have one, we can facilitate your application
Important information regarding the role as Psychology Teaching Assistant:* Wantage, OX12* Pay: £83.50 - £90 per day* Full time (Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm)* ASAP start* Amazing and rewarding experience for anyone with a psychology background.
