Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for the organisation.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality goods.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential new suppliers and products.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- To look after HR & IT categories
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers to ensure excellent service.
- Oversee procurement processes and implement improvements where necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Profile
A successful Procurement Specialist should have:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proficient knowledge of procurement processes and systems.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of the FMCG industry and its supply chain operations.
- Experience in managing HR and IT categories
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
- A keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy.
