Account Management Team Leader – About Our Client:

Our client, a growing wholesaler based in Ware, is looking for an experienced and hands-on Account Management Team Leader to oversee their Key Account Managers. This role is all about driving growth, improving customer experience, and building a motivated, high-performing team.

Account Management Team Leader – Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of Key Account Managers, ensuring they meet and exceed performance goals.

  • Encourage phone-based customer engagement to strengthen relationships and create new sales opportunities.

  • Help the team boost daily sales by reaching out to regular customers and following up on leads.

  • Work with colleagues to monitor and grow customer accounts, hitting revenue targets along the way.

  • Streamline processes to ensure consistent, high-quality service and quick responses to customer needs.

  • Promote a “first time resolution” approach to customer issues and ensure timely follow-ups on quotes and queries.

  • Use CRM tools to manage pipelines, track progress, and provide clear, accurate reporting.

  • Motivate, train, and guide team members to help them succeed and hold them accountable for their goals.

  • Be an active part of the leadership team, contributing to a positive and driven company culture.

Account Management Team Leader – What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience leading and managing a team.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Comfortable using CRM systems and analysing data.

  • A results-oriented attitude with a proactive and flexible mindset.

  • Experience in sales development is a plus.
