Group Financial Controller

Offering a very flexible working environment, with hybrid and remote working utilised across the organisation as well as offices in Dorset, our client currently has a great opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to join their senior leadership team in a key role.

What will the Group Financial Controller role involve?

• Responsible for the delivery of all external financial reporting, statutory returns and submissions;
• Lead the production of the group’s statutory accounts including the statutory consolidation and managing the external audit, leading the wider group finance team through the process;
• Consolidation and preparation of the group’s monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, whilst also overseeing the group’s fixed asset accounting;
• Managing, maintaining and developing two key group financial systems;
• Identifying, assessing and implementing process improvements across finance whilst championing a culture of continuous improvement;
• Managing a team of four direct and three further indirect reports.

Suitable Candidate for the Group Financial Controller role:

• Fully qualified with strong technical accounting skills;
• Working knowledge of complex group consolidations;
• Previous experience of preparing statutory accounts and managing external audit.
