Position Overview:We are looking for a talented Instrument Engineer with expertise in chromatography and ThermoMass to enhance our technical team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with these technologies, and a passion for maintaining and optimizing advanced instrumentation. #INDSOUTH
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first response to Laboratory equipment breakdowns. Ensuring all critical science and operations are protected.
- Working with the key equipment users, wider engineering team and our suppliers to ensure that all key laboratory instrument platforms are operationally functional to support the customers science needs
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot chromatography systems and ThermoMass analysers.
- Perform routine calibrations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on instrumentation.
- Analyse data and generate detailed reports to support ongoing projects and client needs.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to optimize system performance and address any technical issues.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as required.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in instrumentation technology.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in maintaining scientific laboratory instrumentation or automation technologies
- Pharmaceutical / Regulated working background
- Previous experience of working in multidisciplinary customer facing teams
- Advanced Technical Skills in the field of expertise or Experience of servicing scientific equipment
- Driving Continuous Improvement and innovative solutions
- Good Understanding of device networking and communications protocols
- Excellent PC and Microsoft tools skills
