Quality Assurance Assistant

28 days paid holiday, Pension. On-site free parking. No weekends. Monday-Friday 7.15am to 4.45pm.

We have an opportunity for a quality assurance assistant to join the QA team of a leading food production company at their Warminster production facility.

The role is in the main focused on quality checking food but will also include:

• Observing the production of meals as they move through the factory, from ingredients to finished product
• Carrying out weight checks on products
• Monitor and verify critical control points to ensure that food is managed safely as it moves into the factory
• Complete daily checks on utensils and equipment
• Carry out daily spot checks throughout every department within the factory to ensure that standards and processes are maintained
• Verify that all factory paperwork has been completed correctly
• Working with the production team to ensure that goods are placed into the blast freezers within the appropriate
• Recording and reporting any issues found while completing checks

The Quality Assurance Assistant role requires you to demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately, therefore a good level of written and verbal communication is required. If you have worked in a quality assurance, quality control, or inspection role then this is an excellent opportunity for you. If you have undertaken quality assurance in a food environment that would be ideal, however by no means necessary.
